With a population of 2.8 million people, Qatar will be the first Arab state to host the FIFA World Cup in the middle eastern region. AVK products are an integral part of all match venues and training pitches for the World Cup 2022 Qatar.
The Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SCD&L), on behalf of the Qatar Government, has undertaken to deliver the FIFA 2022 World Cup Stadiums Program in Qatar. The plan was to build or redevelop eight football stadiums in Qatar. The complete scope of work involves building the stadiums and other infrastructure, as well as ensuring the tournament and its preparations contributes to Qatar's sustainable development.
Since the main contract tenders were issued in 2013, AVK Team in Qatar started working jointly with AVK factories American AVK Co. USA, AVK Intl Denmark, Saudi Valve Manufacturing Company, Wouter Witzel & AVK Rewag, Netherlands, AVK Polska, Poland, AVK Armaturen, Germany, AVK Anhui and Orbinox Spain to specify AVK Products for the World Cup stadiums projects. Flow Control Qatar supported the consultants to choose the right product for the right application and potential bidders during the tender stage with the best techno-commercial proposals.
AVK Flow Control,Qatar has been successful to ensure AVK Group is a part of all the eight stadiums including the training pitches built for 2022 FIFA World Cup.
