Organized by the Arab water Council, the 5th edition of Arab Water Forum was held from the 21st – 23rd  of September 2021 in Dubai under the patronage of the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Energy & Infrastructure and supported by the League of Arab States (LAS) and the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation of Egypt (MWRI), in collaboration with national, regional, and international partners.

Under the overarching Slogan “Arab Water Security for Peace and Sustainable Development” drove three pivotal agendas :-

• Arab Water Security
• Transboundary Water Cooperation
• Water for Sustainable Development

This 3 day forum was the stage for the Arab water community leaders and key decision-makers to discuss the multidimentional water challenges faced by the Arab world today being one of the most water-scarce regions in the world.

As industry leader, in our efforts to do things differently and showcase how we as a company contribute to responsible and sustainable development simultaneously contributing to solving some of the challenges faced in the world. We presented our solutions that contribute to safeguard water that is already available in the pipe network by focusing on Non-Revenue Water (NRW) and leakage management and SMART pressure management during the show aligning ourselves with the Group’s focus on achieving United Nations Sustainaible Goals,

SDG 6 - bringing fresh water and establishing proper sanitation for all on this planet, SDG 9 - related to industry, innovation, and infrastructure and SDG 17 - which talks about strengthening global partnerships to support and achieve the goals.

As a part of the opening ceremony and an introductory walk around the forum the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, Minister of State for Food and Water Security, UAE and the Secretary-General, League of Arab States visited us for a brief introduction to our smart solutions. During these three days, we showcased our non-revenue water and smart pressure management solutions in our efforts to respond to the real-time challenges of supply management in the region. We were excited to receive a great response to our smart solutions and are looking forward to the future collaboration.
