Water Supply and Wastewater Treatment Seminars in Oman
Two days of technical presentation and product demonstration in Salalah and Muscat for the water and wastewater authorities, consultants, and contractors in Oman. 25-05-2022
On 22nd and 23rd February, Watecom in partnership with Oman Pumps Manufacturing Eng. Services Co., our agent in Oman organized the two-day seminar to recreate awareness about reliable, sustainable, and high-quality AVK solutions for our water and waster water clients,consultants and contractors in Salalah in Oman.
The first day’s session was opened by the Regional Managing Director of AVK, Ole Hedegaard with an introduction to AVK and a welcome note addressing all guests attending the day’s proceedings. An invitation-only event for our client WSD, Water Sector of the Dofor Intergrated Service Company the primary agenda of day one, was to deliver an in-depth technical presentation about the AVK water supply product range primarily focusing on gate valves, butterfly valve needle valves, and pressure management solutions showcasing how pressure management could benefit water authorities in water supply network followed by a question and answer session and demonstration of the products displayed at the venue by the AVK Team and networking lunch.
The two-day seminar in both locations Salalah and Muscat was focused on raising awareness about AVK’s Water supply and Wastewater treatment solutions. The central theme of the 2-day proceedings in both locations was to not only raise awareness about AVK solutions but also to educate our clients about key unique features of AVK products that are distinct from competitors in both water and wastewater segments which allows us as AVK to meet our customer’s expectations and deliver long term cost efficient solutions.
Seminars in both the locations were attended by more than 65 members from of the Salalah Sanitary Drainage Company, WSD Salalah and 65 members from (PAEW) and HAYA, consultants, and contractors in Oman with a positive feedback from all fours clients as to how beneficial and effective the day’s event was with an engaging question-and-answer session.
AVK Team members who attended the event were General Manager Rahees Usman, Technical Sales Manager Anand Krishnamurty, Product Manager Ahmed Hosny and Reg. Sales Manager (Oman) Raj Nair.
Day Two's agenda was to provide an insight into AVK's wastewater treatment product basket to Salalah Sanitary Drainage Company (SSDC) in Salalah primarily focusing on butterfly valves, check valves, knife gate valves, penstock, and needle valve solutions followed by an interactive question and answer session and demonstration of the products displayed at the venue by the AVK Team and networking lunch.
A similar program focussed on the wastewater segment was delivered to the Public Authority of Water and Electricity and Oman Water & Wastewater Service Company (HAYA) in Muscat, on the 28th and 29th of March at Hormuz Grand Muscat, Oman.
