PE tailed gate valve to GIS/V7-1 for Natural Gas. Pressure range: 7 Bar (100psig) with PE 100 Tails, 4 Bar (60psig) with PE 80 Tails. Temperature range: -10°C to +40°C
The Ductile Iron Series 555/371 Softseal Valve is a double faced, resilient seat, internal screw, full bore, PE ended Wedge Gate Valve. It is designed primarily for the isolation of natural gas when fused in line on a PE gas distribution system. Body and Bonnet are manufactured from ductile iron for extra strength, the gate seals on both machined faces with an embedded nitrile seal in each face which sit completely outside the flow of gas with the valve open.
